Our Story
John Trigg, aged 73, with three decades of experience in acquiring diverse items, and Nicholas Smith, a 34-year-old expert in junk removal and accumulation, converged their paths, leading to a groundbreaking realization. This epiphany, rooted in their unique backgrounds, inspired them to venture into the auction business. Initially, their modest goal was to sell their own amassed collections. However, their mission quickly evolved beyond personal gain. Recognizing the broader potential of their endeavor, they expanded their services to assist others in selling their possessions, particularly in times of need.
Their business rapidly gained traction, distinguished by exceptional customer service and a strong moral compass. John and Nick have since been dedicated to helping individuals maximize the value of their most cherished possessions. Through their efforts, they’ve not only created a thriving auction business but have also provided invaluable support to those looking to navigate the often emotional process of parting with personal items. Their story is a testament to the power of combining diverse experiences and skills for a common purpose, transforming personal ventures into community-serving endeavors.

How Long Does It Take To Go To Auction
The preparation time for an auction can vary since no two auctions are identical. Typically, an auction with around 300 items requires an average of one week of preparation before going live. The timeframe can also depend on the size of the items. For a more precise estimate, we encourage you to get in touch with us directly with any questions.
Do you provide help retrieving and loading items?
We retrieve the items from our warehouse for you; however, as the buyer, you are responsible for loading them into your personal vehicle. Please ensure you bring a vehicle large enough to accommodate your purchase.
How do auctioneers ensure fair bidding?
Auctioneers ensure fair bidding by adhering to strict rules and procedures, providing clear terms and conditions before the auction, and monitoring the auction closely to prevent fraudulent activities.
What are reserve prices, and how are they set?
A reserve price is the minimum price a seller is willing to accept for an item. It is set by the seller, often in consultation with the auctioneer, based on the item's value, market demand, and previous auction results.
